The fire pump is the heart of the fire water supply system. During the duration of the fire, the safety of personnel in and out and the normal operation of the fire pump have strict regulations on the setting of the fire pump room. Today, we sorted out the relevant contents of the setting of the fire pump room.
1. Plane layout --Customized Buliding Fire Pump Set
A. The fire resistance rating of independently built fire pump house shall not be lower than grade II.
B. The fire pump room attached to the building shall not be set at or below the third floor of the basement, or the basement where the elevation difference between the indoor ground and the floor at the entrance and exit of the room is greater than 10m.
C. The fire pump room attached to the building shall be separated from other parts by partitions with a fire resistance limit of not less than 2.0h and floors with a fire resistance limit of 1.50h.
D. The evacuation door shall be directly connected to the outdoor or emergency exit, and the door opening to the evacuation aisle shall adopt class a fire door.
2. Unit layout -- Customized Buliding Fire Pump Set
A. The clear distance between two adjacent units and the unit to the wall should not be less than 0.60m when the motor capacity is less than 22KW; When the motor capacity is not less than 22KW and not less than 550.8m; When the motor capacity is greater than 55kW and less than 255kw, it should not be less than 1.2m; When the motor capacity is greater than 255kw, it should not be less than 1.5m.
Note: when diesel engine fire pump is used, the clear distance between units should be increased by 0.2m according to the above specified value, but not less than 1.2m.
B. When the fire pump is overhauled locally, a channel with the width of the fire pump unit plus 0.5m shall be set at least on one side of each unit, and the fire pump shaft and motor rotor can be disassembled during overhauling.
C. The width of the main passage of the fire pump room shall not be less than 1.2m.
3. Heating, ventilation and drainage -- Customized Buliding Fire Pump Set
The fire pump house shall be designed with corresponding heating, ventilation and drainage facilities according to specific conditions, and shall comply with the following provisions:
A. The heating temperature in freezing areas in winter such as severe cold and cold shall not be lower than 10 ℃, but not lower than 5 ℃ when unattended.
B. The ventilation of fire pump room should be designed as 6 times / h.
C. The fire pump room shall be equipped with drainage facilities.
D. The fire pump room shall be provided with waterproof measures
4. Other -- Customized Buliding Fire Pump Set
A. Class a decoration materials shall be used for all decoration inside the fire pump room.
B. The fire control room attached to the garage and repair garage, the equipment room of the automatic fire extinguishing system, the fire water pump room, the smoke exhaust and ventilation air conditioning room, etc. shall be separated from each other or from adjacent parts by fire partition walls and non combustible floors with a fire resistance limit of not less than 1.50h.
C. The fire pump room shall be equipped with a special telephone extension for fire fighting.
D. When diesel engine fire water pump is used, independent fire water pump room should be set, and ventilation, smoke exhaust and fire resistance facilities meeting the operation of diesel engine should be set.
E. The drainage capacity of the drainage facilities of the fire pump house shall be tested. During commissioning, all the water discharged from the system shall be discharged through the drainage facilities and shall meet the design requirements.
F. Standby lighting shall be set in the fire pump room, self provided generator room, power distribution room, smoke control and exhaust room and the fire equipment room that still needs to work normally in case of fire, and the minimum illumination of its working surface shall not be lower than that of normal lighting.
G. For the power supply of fire-fighting electrical equipment and fire elevators in fire control room, fire pump room, smoke control and smoke exhaust fan room, automatic switching device shall be set at the last level distribution box of its distribution line.
