Location of fire pump
1. Fire pump should be set in temporary high pressure fire water supply system and stable high pressure fire water supply system. In the series fire water supply system and gravity fire water supply system, besides the fire pump, the fire transfer pump is also needed. Fire pump should be set for fire hydrant water supply system and automatic sprinkler system respectively.
2. The fire pump shall be equipped with standby pump, whose performance shall be consistent with that of working pump, except for the following buildings:
1) Residential buildings with building height less than 54m and buildings with outdoor fire water supply design flow less than or equal to 25L / S;
2) The design flow of indoor fire water supply is less than or equal to 10L / s.
