INSPECTION AND TESTING.
4.0 General.
8.1 When undertaking the repair, manufacture of products, inspection and test procedures should be applied by MSI Engineering Pty: Ltd. On all products. Inspection and test procedures are essential to correlate the supplies provided with documentary evidence of conformance to the specified requirements of the customer. procedures cover receipt, in process and final inspection and testing of a product.
8.2 Receiving, Inspection and Testing.
8.2.1 all incoming supplies received by DEPUMP (CHINA) Pump. Shall be inspected and verified for conformance to the requirements specified in the associated purchase Order. Receipt inspections will verify points (a) (b) (c) bellow and should be completed prior to the supplies being released:
(a) Completeness of the incoming supplies.
(b) Availability of applicable supporting documents.
(c) The Identification of the supplies and general conformance to the specified requirements.
In exceptional circumstances where product release is required urgently for production the product may be specifically identified and recorded in order to permit immediate recall and replacement in the event of non-conformance to specified requirements.
8.3 In process inspection and testing.
8.3.1 in process inspection and testing called for in Jobs orders it to be performed to verify that:
a. The product performs with the specified requirements.
b. The work processes and special processes are adequate to controlling each process.
c. Non-conforming products will be held at the appropriate stage. (Hold Point)
d. Production shall be held at the appropriate point if materials require releasing in exceptional circumstances.
