Energy Input

Chilled water pumps are usually powered by an engine or electric motor. Engine-driven water pumps are usually driven by a crankshaft through a belt system, while electric pumps are driven directly by an electric motor

Water pump impeller blades rotate

There is a water pump wheel assembly inside the chilled water pump, which is fixed on the water pump shaft. When the water pump works, the power drives the water pump shaft to rotate, which in turn drives the water pump impeller blades to rotate.

Water inhalation

When the chilled water pump shaft rotates, the blades on the water pump wheel push the surrounding liquid (usually coolant or water), creating a low-pressure area that causes the surrounding liquid to be sucked into the water pump.

liquid circulation

The liquid entering the chilled system will absorb heat and then release the heat to the surrounding environment through radiation or conduction. The cooled liquid then returns to the water pump, restarting the cycle.

Types of Chilled Water Pump

ISA

ISA series end suction centrifugal pumps are designed complying to BS EN733 /DIN24255 standard. This series of pumps have great advantages in interchangeable parts.high quality and low cost, wide applications in plants, mines, city water supplies, fire-fighting systems, air-condition systems and irrigation.

ISO

Horizontal single stage,end suction with vertical discharge.The "back pull out" design allows for the maintenance of the pump without disturbing the pipework connected to the casing, or the pump alignment.The pump is built to the dimensional requirements of lS0 2858,Flanges are in accordance with EN1092.

3.IS

IS type pump is a single-stage single-suction (axial suction) centrifugal pump. It is an energy-saving pump jointly designed by the whole country. It is an updated model of BA type, B type and other single-stage clean water centrifugal pumps. The advantages are: the full series of hydraulic performance layout is reasonable, the user has a wide range of choices, and easy maintenance; the efficiency and suction lift have reached the international average advanced level. This type of pump is suitable for industrial and urban water supply and drainage. It can also be used for agricultural drainage and irrigation and for transporting clean water or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clean water. The temperature is not higher than 80°C.

In the chemical industry, chilled water pumps are used to transport various chemical media, such as acids, alkalis, salts, etc. It can adapt to highly corrosive and high-temperature environments to ensure the smooth progress of chemical production.

Electric power industry

In the power industry, chilled water pumps are used in the chilled systems of generators. By delivering coolant, it ensures that the generator does not overheat during operation, thereby extending its service life.

Metallurgical industry

In the metallurgical industry, chilled water pumps are used in the chilled systems of blast furnaces, converters and other equipment. It can withstand high temperature and high pressure environments to ensure the smooth progress of metallurgical production.
