Method for eliminating surge of centrifugal water pump
1. Check whether the automatic exhaust valve of the centrifugal water pump is flexible and reliable;
2. Solve the problem of vortex at the inlet of centrifugal water pump due to small inlet flow and excessive inlet flow velocity;
3. Check whether the centrifugal water pump impeller and shell are damaged;
4. Check whether there are movable sundries at and near the centrifugal water pump inlet;
5. Check whether there is leakage at the junction of centrifugal water pump outlet pipeline;
6. When starting the centrifugal water pump, ensure the liquid level of the pool at the inlet of the water pump;
7. When selecting the hump curve, the centrifugal water pump pipeline plan shall be fully considered to make the working point of the centrifugal water pump equipment fall in the stable operation area. It is recommended that the water pump should not work in the unstable small flow area.
8.The flow regulating valve of the centrifugal water pump shall be installed between the centrifugal water pump and the air tank, not behind them, or the static head of the water pump shall not exceed the closed head of the pump.

1. Safety isolation measures shall be taken for centrifugal water pump before maintenance;
2. During maintenance, turn off the power switch of the centrifugal water pump and take measures to cut off the power of the centrifugal water pump equipment;
3. When checking the running centrifugal water pump, take safety precautions.
