High capacity split casing pump is a type of centrifugal pump. A double-suction pump has only one impeller, but its special design allows water to be drawn in from both sides of the impeller simultaneously. This type of pump is characterized by high flow rates and high efficiency.

We currently offer two main models of the pump: the MS and the XS double-suction pumps. The XS series represents a comprehensive upgrade over the MS model; In addition to offering higher flow rates, it covers a broader head range.

These high capacity split casing pumps feature a horizontal split-casing design, where the unit is divided along the shaft axis into an upper pump cover and a lower pump body. This design offers a significant advantage: ease of maintenance. You can access core components-such as the impeller and bearings-simply by removing the bolts connecting the cover to the body and lifting off the cover, without needing to disconnect the piping. This makes maintenance incredibly convenient.

This type of pump is unsuitable for transporting liquids containing solid particles; if used for river water, the solids must be no larger than 0.2 mm, and the solid content must not exceed 0.05%. We recommend this double-suction pump for transporting clean liquids.

For standard clean water applications, ordinary grey cast iron is typically used. The high capacity split casing pump is also available in stainless steel (such as 304 or 316 grades) and high-performance materials like duplex stainless steel. And if you need to transfer liquid corrosive, we will suggest the material of duplex stainless steel.

This type of pump is suitable for high-flow applications;it offers a flow rate range of 22 to 16,000 cubic meters per hour and can achieve a maximum head of 300 meters.
