The DG series high temperature multistage pump is a multistage impeller centrifugal pump that can transport high-temperature liquids. Unlike ordinary multistage pumps, the DG type multistage pump can meet a wider temperature range. The same is that it has similar performance to the D type multistage pump and can meet the needs of high-head medium transportation. This article will focus on the analysis of the DG type multistage pump.
This article will use the DG12-50x3 as an example to explain the features and applications of the DG series high temperature multistage pump.
A customer from Bolivia required a pump capable of transporting 140°C hot water. Their specifications were as follows:
Flow rate: 14.4 m³/h
Head: 120 m
Medium: Hot water
Application: Boiler water transportation
Equipped with a motor drive
As can be seen from their requirements, the high head is beyond the capabilities of ordinary end-suction pumps. Furthermore, the liquid they wanted to transport was relatively hot water, so we needed to choose a DG series high temperature multistage pump to meet their needs.
To meet their requirements, the material also needed to be tailored to the characteristics of the liquid.
We chose cast steel for the inlet, outlet, and middle sections, ductile iron for the guide vanes, 304 stainless steel for the impeller, and 2Cr13 for the main shaft. This ensures high-temperature water transportation.
Finally, we selected the DG12-50X3 model to meet the customer's needs.
