High Efficiency Double Suction Pump
Product Details
High efficiency double suction pump is a key type of centrifugal pump. Its main features are a symmetrical double-inlet impeller and an axial double-sided suction design, so the medium enters the impeller from both sides of the pump body at the same time. It can be customized to a maximum flow rate of 30,000 m³/h, which is much higher than ordinary single-suction pumps. It's suitable for large-scale fluid transfer needs.
Main structure
1.Impeller: Suction inlets on both sides. It balances axial force, reduces bearing load, and extends the pump's service life.
2.Split-case pump casing : The casing splits horizontally along the axis. just open the pump cover to service components like the impeller and seal. This greatly improves maintenance efficiency.
3.Suction chamber/Discharge chamber: Optimized hydraulic flow channel design guides the medium into the impeller smoothly. It reduces flow loss and boosts transfer efficiency.

Advantage
1.High flow rate
High efficiency double suction pump let liquid enter the impeller from both sides at the same time. Their flow rate can be twice that of single-suction pumps. For example, a single-stage double-suction pump usually has a flow range of 50~30,000 m³/h. This makes it easy to meet the needs of large-scale industrial use, agricultural irrigation, or municipal water supply.
