Wear resistant vertical slurry pump is centrifugal pump designed for conveying highly abrasive slurry with high concentration and hard solid particles. They can withstand the scouring and wear of solid-containing media such as ore
slurry, mortar and ash slurry, and are suitable for harsh working conditions like underground mines, ore dressing plants, slurry ponds and sedimentation tanks.
Core material
Wear resistant vertical slurry pump's Flow passage components like the pump body, impeller and volute liner are all made of high-chromium material. This material is high in hardness and good in toughness. It resists abrasive wear much better than regular cast iron or carbon steel.
Wear-resistant rubber: Some models (e.g. SP series) are rubber-lined. They're great for moving corrosive slurry, and stand up to both wear and corrosion.
Performance Parameters
1.Flow rate range: 20-200 m³/h
2.Head range: 5-86.5 m (The head of Wear resistant vertical slurry pump is generally lower than horizontal ones, and can be increased via multi-stage series connection).
3.Solids concentration capacity: Capable of conveying slurry with solid particle weight concentration of 45%-60% (e.g. mine tailings, power plant fly ash).
4.Particle size adaptability: Maximum allowable particle size up to 40mm.
Structural Features
1.Vertical structure design, small floor space, suitable for installation in narrow working areas such as slurry ponds and underground workshops.
2.The over-current parts are made of wear-resistant materials-high chromium alloy for general abrasive slurry, rubber lining for corrosive slurry, effectively resisting scouring and wear.
3.Adopt reliable sealing structures such as packing seal or mechanical seal to prevent slurry leakage and ensure clean working environment.
