QUALITY RECORDS
13.0. General:
13.1. Quality records handled by DEPUMP (CHINA) Pump. Comprise of two (2) types of data namely:
1. Repair, Maintenance or services orientated records which are product or process generated, these quality records indicate that inspections, tests and other checks including calibration have been performed, and the subsequent results are shown on the records.
2. System and management orientated records which demonstrate that the Quality assurance system is working. These records generally comprise of, review, Audit, and corrective action records.
Quality records maintained by DEPUMP (CHINA) Pump. can be used as objective evidence to demonstrate that the Quality Assurance system conforms to AS 3901 or as required by the customer. All such quality records will be legibly identified with the contract involved. Records are to be filed under their respective job Numbers. Their Handling at MSI Engineering Pty: Ltd. will comply with the following Standard:
a. Records will be stored in an environment that will prevent deterioration, under normal conditions.
b. Records will be retained for a period of 5 years or a period specified in a particular contract.
c. Records will be readily accessible to the customer during all normal working hours while they are retained in the charge of DEPUMP (CHINA) Pump.
d. Disposal of quality records will be in accordance with the relevant contract requirements or customers instructions.
e. All relevant subcontractor quality records will be similarly handled.
